The West African College of Surgeons successfully conducted a life-changing Free Surgical Outreach at the University of Cape Coast Hospital, delivering essential surgical care to the community. A total of 64 surgeries were performed, including hernia repairs, thyroid surgeries, fibroid removals, and excision of various lumps. Notably, 18 prison inmates also benefited from this intervention, underscoring a commitment to equitable healthcare access. This outreach reflects the enduring impact of collaborative medical service in improving patient outcomes and restoring hope.
