History

The University Hospital began as a clinic in 1963 attached to Adehye Hall. It was initially established to cater for the health needs of students, staff and their dependents but now offer services to the general public. From a humble beginning when the Hospital had only few Doctors, Nurses, inadequate facilities and equipment among others, the University Health Services has been recognized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) as one of the most distinguished Hospitals in the country, and therefore remains a facility with a nationwide acclaim.
